To get around this conundrum have you ever thought of a birthday cake made of creamy delicious ice cream?  They are a hit for both young and old.

If you are on the Sunshine Coast we’ve got you covered!

Firstly most of our ice cream flavour line up is proudly gluten-free (check out the list below for the full scoop). The good news continues with our gluten-free buttercream icing.

Now, we must confess – some cake decorations may bring gluten to the party. But fear not! Our Caramel Lattice topper is the gluten-free VIP you’ve been waiting for.

And for those with a specific vision, we’re gluten-free cake wizards and we can custom make our Lolly Top, Deluxe Chocolate Top, Carnival Top, Honeycomb, Unicorn or Mint Choc Chip creations to be gluten-free.  When ordering online just tick the Gluten Free option and we will do the rest. Or drop by or phone our store with your order preference.

Gluten Free Flavours:

We can be found in the Cotton Tree village (Maroochydore) which is a wonderful place to visit as it sits at the mouth of the Maroochy River.  It’s a great safe spot to take the kids for a swim and also boasts a wonderful esplanade to walk amongst the actual cotton trees.

Handcrafted and Locally Sourced Delights at Cotton Tree Ice Creamery. We take pride in our locally sourced treats, with most of our delectable offerings being handcrafted right here including our delightful ice cream cakes. We also stock the award-winning Maleny Food Co gelato & sorbets.

Cate & Peter, the driving force behind our handcrafted treats, have had the pleasure of witnessing the sheer delight that our creations bring as more and more people visit us daily for their ice cream cravings. We are committed to inclusivity, offering a wide array of gluten-free flavours to cater to various dietary preferences. For those with dairy intolerance we also have a small range of sorbets.

Additionally, we have a playful assortment of lollies that add a fun twist to our offerings. And for those with gluten intolerance, we provide gluten-free waffle cones, ensuring everyone can savour the satisfying crunch of a waffle cone," explains Cate.
